*A tunnel leading to the under-dark is not hidden, but not widely known outside their number. They use it to trade with the drow from their homelands. It is guarded by a major spirit (with a fondness for the drow) who will not let anyone with 'impure' intent walk through the gate at either side. *

The 'Tourist' Pitch

**An area of strange and slightly wild beauty, Creciente Valley is unlike any other place.

**The very small village of Gatesmouth lies in constant shadow, nestled between mountains. A small group of moon-worshipping drow have settled here in this place with a gate leading to the 'world below', and have some goods come here from that exotic place - but not many traders can get through the gate.

Be careful around the tar fields found here. Not only do strange creatures prowl around them, but they are not nearly as easy to spot as one might think. Becoming stuck in the magical tar can have adverse affects even should you be lucky enough to get pulled out.

General look and feel of the area

The farms here are unlike any others and suited to their environment. For every house, there is a shrine built to some spirit. Most are for earth spirits of for spirits of the night sky, but spirits for pine trees, moss and bugs are also abundant.
