**Dwindling city on the back of a dead dragon turtle. The seafolk of this city once roamed the seas with their city spirit, meeting other mermaid 'pods' on similar spirits or in great reef cities. However, following the tragic and sudden death of their city spirit to unknown forces, the peoples of this city almost died. They were saved by the dwarves of Gnó and maintain a good relationship with them since. These are the only surface dwellers the seafolk have traded with in eons, and they are grateful and fond of the dwarves they have settled near. Schools of minor spirit fish circle the area. *

However, the environment here does not suit the mermaids. The underwater volcano nearby provides plenty of nutrients and warmth for them but - unknown to them or the dwarves - affects the sexes born of their clutches of eggs. As such, this is a people who are fading away, who wish to escape from their isolation and return to the wide open waters of the sea.

Artistry exists all through-out the city. Very free, they do this anywhere. The entire city is covered in constantly changing, over-worked and re-worked in paint and song and sculpture.

What's going on?

Events

Maybe scouts are being sent out to try and find a new home, but the dwarves want them to stay and are willing to sabotage and kill these scouts to ensure that they do.

Note: The Spirit of this city died. It was the giant turtle. The corpse of its twin also died, in fact the turtle knew that it was dying and did its best to get its people to the safest place that it could. It poured all its power into the area as a last gift, and a way to protect its people. When the twin died, there was a great storm. Their corpse lies somewhere in the ocean, and holds great power.

Glasses made from the sand of this area give the ability to see spirits, even if they don't want you to.
